This book is a comprehensive treatment of the basic concepts of electric motor drives and their industrial applications. B. N. SARKAR (PhD) is Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore. He has more than thirty years of teaching experience and has published/presented several technical papers in national and international technical journals/conferences. A fellow member of Institution of Engineers (India) and Ex-member of CIGRE (France), Professor Sarkar has authored two books including Textbook on Industrial Drives published by PHI Learning.
