L'utilisation de techniques d'estimation des param�tres est aujourd'hui courante dans l'�talonnage des mod�les hydrog�ologiques. Cependant, de nombreuses difficult�s sont rencontr�es lorsqu'il s'agit de caract�riser la distribution de la conductivit� hydraulique. L'objectif de ce travail est de pr�senter une m�thodologie pratique utilisant des points pilotes pour caract�riser la variabilit� de la conductivit� hydraulique dans l'aquif�re h�t�rog�ne du site d'essai de Lauswiesen, situ� pr�s de la ville de T�bingen, en Allemagne. Les points pilotes offrent une grande flexibilit� dans la disposition des zones � haute et basse conductivit� hydraulique � identifier au cours du processus d'�talonnage, dans lequel le mod�lisateur n'a plus besoin de deviner la g�om�trie de la distribution de la conductivit� hydraulique avant l'�talonnage du mod�le. Les r�sultats indiquent que la structure de l'aquif�re estim�e � l'aide des points pilotes pr�sente une tendance tr�s similaire � celle des exp�riences de terrain pr�c�demment r�alis�es sur le site. Il a �galement �t� v�rifi� que les points pilotes sont tr�s efficaces pour capturer les formations g�ologiques tr�s h�t�rog�nes, alors que les solutions analytiques ne permettaient de conclure qu'� un cas presque homog�ne.
