Dans ce contexte, la pr�sente �tude a �t� men�e afin d'�valuer la sensibilisation des femmes � leurs droits reproductifs. L'�tude a �t� men�e dans le gouvernorat d'Alexandrie aupr�s d'un �chantillon de femmes de diff�rents groupes d'�ge, statuts matrimoniaux, niveaux d'�ducation, situations professionnelles et �conomiques, ainsi que de caract�ristiques obst�tricales. La pr�sente �tude a examin� la sensibilisation des femmes ainsi que l'exercice de leurs droits reproductifs, en particulier en ce qui concerne le droit de refuser le mariage ou de se marier � un �ge trop pr�coce, et le droit de choisir soi-m�me son mari. L'�tude a �galement examin� les opinions des femmes concernant le droit de d�cider du nombre et de l'espacement des naissances, le droit de recourir aux services de planification familiale, ainsi que le droit d'�tre � l'abri de la violence sexuelle et conjugale. Il �tait encourageant de constater que lorsque les droits susmentionn�s ont �t� abord�s avec les personnes interrog�es, la majorit� d'entre elles les ont approuv�s.
