"niederenergetismen Kernphysik" in einer Auswahl behandelt werden, wobei der Smwerpunkt auf den eigentlimen Namweismitteln von Quanten und Partikeln liegt. In meiner iiber amt Jahre gehaltenen Vorlesung iiber dieses Arbeitsgebiet an der Eidg. Temn. Homsmule in Ziirim ist mir aufge fallen, daB die Studierenden, obsmon einige hervorragende Mono graphien in Einzeldarstellung existieren, vorerst sehr miihevoll ihr Wissen aus Originalarbeiten zusammensumen muBten. Fiir einen Physiker, der sim taglim damit besmaftigt, wird das immer nom der rimtige und exakte Weg sein. Fiir die Mehrzahl der allgemein interessierten Physiker und Natur wissenschaftler, und vor allem fiir alle Mitbeniitzer der kernphysikali schen Technik im Laboratorium ist diese knappe Darstellung als Hilfs mittel gedamt. Die ausfiihrlimen Literaturzitate erlauben es aum in jedem Falle, tiefer in die Materie einzudringen. Neben dem beinahe klassischen Wissensgut wird man aum aktuelle Aspekte, wie eine Einfiihrung in die Temnik der Halbleiterzahler oder einen Ausblick iiber die Blasenkammer finden, die als eines der wimtig sten Instrumente der Homenergiephysik nam der strengen Auswahl iiberhaupt nimt behandelt werden sollten.
