Einleitung Das Grundsätzliche der statischen Frequenzverdreifachung mit Hilfe hoch- gesättigter Transformatoren ist seit langem bekannt. Untersuchungen in dieser Richtung wurden schon in den zwanziger Jahren angestellt, jedoch zeigten damals die Versuche keine erfolgversprechenden Ergebnisse für eine wirtschaft- liche Anwendung, insbesondere für eine Transformation grö erer Leistungen!. Erst die in neuerer Zeit entwickelten Transformatorenbleche (Texturbleche), deren B(H) Kennlinien sich stark der Rechteckform nähern, und deren Eisen- verluste geringer sind, lassen eine erneute Untersuchung der statischen Frequenz- verdreifachung geraten erscheinen. Diese Arbeit soll über experimentelle Untersuchungen berichten, die an ver- schiedenen Transformatoren mit Texturblechen angestellt wurden, mit dem Ziel, auf eine wirtschaftliche Weise grö ere Leistungen von 50 auf 150 Hz zu transformieren. Eine unmittelbare Anwendung wäre z. B.
