This book is a behind-the-scenes look at the author's family life after his son was diagnosed with childhood cancer. There is much that goes on behind closed doors in a home that's main purpose is to protect one of its own from the dangers of the outside world. And Adam wants to invite you inside.
In these pages, you will follow the path of a boy and his family as they walked the unimaginable road through childhood leukemia. Just after Ezekiel's second birthday, he was diagnosed with this life-threatening disease. Read about the ugly part of chemo treatments, along with the rest of the aspects of childhood cancer nobody tells you about. Take on the perspective of a father desperate to help his child, but helpless to do so.
In this updated edition of Ezekiel's Path, you'll read more about the years following the first year of treatment, when the book was first published, including the biblical wisom from the author in hindsight of a life ten years prior.
To Zeke: What started as a journal to simply vent my thoughts and emotions has turned into a message to share with the world. I have you to thank, my sweet boy. I love you with all my heart, and I can't wait for the day that this disease is eliminated from you forever! Dad
Lowe, Adam Alva: - Adam Lowe lives in Orange County, California with his wife Stacia, and their four sons, Joey, Zeke, MacGyver, and Curtis. After two decades working in the legal and financial industries, a company-wide layoff gave Adam the push needed to finally jump back into his passion for writing and helping people. In June 2022, he began working full-time as a stay-at-home parent and freelance writer and editor.During this time, he began reviving his writing webpage and piecing together various projects that he had not had the time to work on while full-time in the office over the prior twenty years. Channeling his Literature and Writing bachelor's degree and the Master of Arts graduate education in the same program, Adam finally got to a place where he felt like he was able to use the gifts that God gave him as he worked in the writing industry to encourage and inspire others.Adam and Stacia Lowe are seasoned authors, editors, a ghostwriter and an accountant who know exactly what to expect when it comes to publishing your book. As publishing consultants with Lowe Budget Publishing, they desire to provide assistance in your indie publishing process. When Adam's not trying to write in his noisy house, you can likely find him driving the boys to and from school and other events, leading a men's ministry Bible study Friday mornings at church, or just hanging out with his family with something silly on the TV.
