The following essays, stories and poems are not a conversation about gender expectations but a compendium for anyone who supports a mother and children with responsibility and love. First, I thought back to raising my children and conjured up some helpful hints and a discussion on excepting our roles as Fathers. Second, to realize the importance of Fatherhood on the emotional and cognitive development of our children we need to realize that our role can be as important as Mother and that we should take the time to learn new things about parenting with every step and to be present with love and care when our children need us. I collected essays written throughout my experience of Fatherhood. Most of these essays deal with birth. The birth of my children impacted my life deeply. These essays hold my strongly held belief in the need for a change in how babies are born in America. Random essays on children's book authors mixed with the biology of ADHD and how this should drive treatment fill the pages of this book. One father may find an essay helpful, or another may have no interest in them at all. The beauty of this book is that it is not meant to be a linear experience but should be used for reference, support, and hopefully pure enjoyment.
