Heike Führ wurde 1962 in Mainz geboren, ist verheiratet und hat zwei Kinder und Enkel - seit sechs Jahren lebt Seelenhund Smiley bei ihr und ihrem Mann. Sie ist seit 1994 an Multiple Sklerose erkrankt und führt zur Information darüber eine Webseite, sowie eine gleichnamige sehr lebendig laufende Facebook-Seite mit über 11.000 Followern. Sie ist mittlerweile eine routinierte und erfolgreiche Bloggerin, arbeitet für mehrere Projekte und schreibt für Fachzeitschriften. Als Autorin hat sie bereits 17 MS-Begleitbücher, 2 Kinderbücher, ein "Glücks-Buch" und ein "Freundschafts-Buch", sowie Kochbücher, u.a. "LOW CARB für UNTERWEGS" geschrieben. Heike Führ ist ausgebildete Erzieherin mit vielen pädagogischen und psychologischen Fort- und Weiterbildungen mit dem Schwerpunkt "Pädagogische Psychologie". Sie belegte auch mehrere Kurse für "Yoga mit Kindern". Diese intensive Zeit und ihr pädagogisches Wissen prägen auch ihr Schreiben.
