Diese erfolgt zum einen in der Absicht. den Jubilar. den verehrten Kollegen Heinz DUDDECK. wegen seines eigenen Beitrags auf diesem Gebiet zu ehren. und zum anderen. urn in unserer schnellebigen Zeit die "Enkel" daran zu erinnern. wer die -Vater" und NGro vater" der Traglasttheorie sind. Die Autoren dieses Beitrags schlie en nicht aus. da auch ihre Wertung subjektiv ist und nicht zuletzt aus PlatzgrOnden manche Arbeit zu knapp oder gar nicht diskutiert werden kann. Dies gilt insbesondere auch fOr neuere experimentelle Unter- suchungen. 1m folgenden verstehen die Verfasser unter Traglasttheorie einen Oberbe- griff. dem sich die Flie gelenktheorie und die Flie zonentheorie unterord- nen. In der alteren Literatur werden die Begriffe Traglasttheorie und Pla- stizitatstheorie gleichgesetzt. Die klassische Plastizitatstheorie be- schreibt jedoch das inelastische Werkstoffverhalten auf der [bene der Konti- nuumstheorie. Ihre globale Betrachtung fOhrt mit entsprechenden Annahmen bezOglich des Werkstoffverhaltens zur Flie zonentheorie. mit deren Hilfe die Verwendung von Makroelementen gerechtfertigt werden kann. die eine Berechnung nach der Flie gelenktheorie erlaubt. Die Flie zonentheorie hat ihre Wurzeln etwa im Jahre 1889. als F. ENGESSER 1111 eine Arbeit Ober die Knickfestigkeit gerader Stabe vorlegt. In den darauffolgenden Jahren erscheinen weitere Arbeiten von Th.v.KARMAN.
