Als gebürtige Ostfriesin kam Moa Graven durch Umwege über den Journalismus selber zum Krimi-Schreiben. Das war im Jahr 2013, als sie ihren ersten Krimi Mörderischer Kaufrausch mit Ermittler Jochen Guntram als Fortsetzung in einem Monatsmagazin veröffentlichte. Seither hat sie viele Leichen in Ostfriesland hinterlassen. Sie arbeitet mittlerweile an drei Krimi-Reihen in Ostfriesland mit Kommissar Guntram in Leer, Jan Krömer in Aurich und Eva Sturm auf Langeoog!
