Detecting Signals at the Single Molecule Level: Pioneering Achievements in Microscopy

Recent advances have led to such remarkable improvements in fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy's (FLIM) capacity for contrast and sensitivity that researchers can now employ it to detect signals at the single molecule level.
