Durch den Krieg in Syrien flüchten Millionen Menschen aus ihrer Heimat, um sich in einem anderen Land ein neues Leben in Sicherheit aufzubauen. Dabei sind vor allem die Nachbarländer Syriens betroffen: Libanon, Jordanien und die Türkei. Doch auch Deutschland ist aufgrund dieser hohen Immigration überlastet. Viele Immigranten haben einen hohen Bildungsstand sowie viel Berufserfahrung. Je eher sie in die Gesellschaft integriert werden können, desto schneller können sie für den Staat eine Ressource und damit wiederum eine Entlastung darstellen. Daher ist eine entsprechende schnelle Hilfe und Betreuung der Flüchtlinge von Anfang an obligatorisch, um die Flüchtlinge bestmöglich unterstützen zu können. In dieser Arbeit wurden 20 Immigranten über verschiedene Bereiche wie beispielsweise Beruf oder Integration interviewt. Ziel der Arbeit war es, Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten in der Betreuung und Integration syrischer Flüchtlinge in Deutschland aufzuzeigen.

Suaad Jumaa-Hijazi ist Sozialpädagogin und arbeitet beim Bayerischen Roten Kreuz in der Migrationsberatung für erwachsene Zuwanderer.
