Cancer survivor, Retired Sergeant First Class (SFC), and U.S. Army Veteran W. L. White III was born February 29th, 1972 in Gary, Indiana. At a young age his vivid imagination was recognized by friends and family. By the age of nine, W. L. White III began reading and collecting comic books. By the age of eighteen his vivid imagination, and desire for adventure, led him to the army. He served his country proudly and honorably for twenty- two years. This career choice allowed him to see the world, with tours in S. Korea, Germany, Italy, and serving four combat tours. He has had the opportunity to serve in some of the best military assignments available, including The Pentagon, White House Communications, and NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization). However, his biggest challenge was yet to come; in 2011 W. L. White III was diagnosed with stage three Colorectal Cancer. The recently married soldier had to fight the biggest battle of his life. The refusal to lie weak through bouts of surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation, led this author to create The FLUX Continuum. This was his only escape from the reality that comes with chemo and radiation treatments. While enduring therapy; he was immersed in writing the story, giving him the strength to face each trial on his way to recovery. It's all about the complete entertainment!
