Lillian Jade reveals herself to be the author at large of a very large and continuously growing collection of manuscripts written over the course of her life, as she discounted herself as an author, leading the life of a mother, wife, and business professional instead. Grappling back in 2004 with the aftermath of an accident where her scalp was chemically burned off gave her pause to rethink her otherwise ordinary life. The aftermath of her accident brought with it reconstructive surgeries, scalp tissue expanders, as well as infarct and memory loss. Struggling at times to identify herself, her family, her life, amid residue neurological pain, and emotional failings, she sought her writing as her therapy for her future. Her first publications were short essays and stories in magazines. Pulling very personal life events as tools of thought for her books, she writes with salient purpose, not making light of situations to appease an audience. Her writing became so bare, that Naked in Front of God became an obvious title for her first ongoing series. Each subtitle in the series holds the reader to a different emotion. Lillian Jade is an avid runner of twenty plus years, as well as a vicarious certified yogi. Having grown up in Westchester County New York, thus moving to Connecticut, she now divides her time between New York and Maryland. She is the mother of three grown children, and intent caretaker of one very devoted dog.
