Dariusz Wojtaszyn is professor of modern history and head of the Centre for Research on the History of German and European Sport at the Willy Brandt Center for German and European Studies at the University of Wroclaw (Poland), visiting professor at the University of Vienna (Austria) and a member of the Sport History/Sport Studies Network and ISHPES.

Teodor Borisov is a historian, former assistant professor at the Institute for Historical Studies of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and guest lecturer at the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" in Sofia (Bulgaria). He is a freelance sports journalist with 13 years of experience. He is a member of the Balkan History Association.

Maros Melichárek is assistant professor of Modern European and Balkan History at Pavol Jozef Safárik University in Kosice (Slovakia) and a member of the Balkan History Association. He has received several domestic and international grants and is a two-time Visegrad scholarship holder.
