Kimberly and Maurice is a young couple ready to start out in their new life together as husband and wife. Toss in the marital problems of their parents and relationship issues with their friends, they soon begin to realize the significance that outside forces are having on fulfilling their vows of for better or worse.

Rather than being free to resolve their own marital problems, Kimberly and Maurice find themselves serving as marriage counselors to both of their parents after skeletons from the past find their way out of the closet.
