Steven Strong is a secondary school teacher with a background in archaeology and education. Evan Strong has a background in sociology and psychology. Their previous books, Constructing A New World Map and Mary Magdalene's Dreaming: A Comparison of Aboriginal Wisdom and Gnostic Scripture, were published by University Press of America, Inc. in 2008.
