L'objectif principal de ce travail �tait de d�velopper une formulation avec une efficacit� th�rapeutique accrue, une fr�quence d'administration r�duite et une meilleure observance du patient en d�veloppant des microsph�res de Lamivudine � lib�ration prolong�e en utilisant diff�rents polym�res pour �tudier leur fonctionnalit� pour la lib�ration prolong�e du m�dicament � partir de formulations de microsph�res. Diff�rentes concentrations de polym�res tels que l'alginate de sodium, le HPMC, le CMC de sodium et le chitosane ont �t� s�lectionn�es pour l'�tude. Les microsph�res ont �t� pr�par�es en utilisant la m�thode de g�lification ionique. Les microsph�res pr�par�es ont �t� �valu�es en termes de taille des particules, de propri�t�s d'�coulement, de teneur en m�dicament et d'efficacit� de pi�geage. Apr�s �valuation des propri�t�s physiques des microsph�res, l'�tude de lib�ration in vitro a �t� r�alis�e dans un tampon HCl 0,1 N pendant 2 heures, puis remplac�e par un tampon phosphate 6,8 jusqu'� 8 heures. Apr�s 8 heures d'�tude, les microsph�res contenant de la CMC sodique ont montr� une lib�ration maximale (88,2 %). Parmi toutes les formulations, la F7, qui contient 200 mg de CMC sodique, lib�re le m�dicament en suivant une cin�tique de premier ordre. La formulation optimis�e de CMC sodique (F7) a �t� soumise � des tests de stabilit� en ce qui concerne le profil de lib�ration.
