Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 1,7, Alice-Salomon Hochschule Berlin, Veranstaltung: Forschungsmethoden, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Gesellschaft und deren Umfeld befindet sich in einem stetigen Wandel der Zeit. Hiervon ist natürlich auch die Bildungspolitik betroffen. Sichtbar wird dies unter anderem auch an der Bachelorisierung, dem sogenannten Bolognaprozess, welcher einheitliche Studiengänge und höhere Qualität schaffen soll. Das wirft zum Teil Fragen, Probleme und Unsicherheiten bei den Studierenden auf. Umso wichtiger ist es diese Fragen, Probleme und Unsicherheiten zu erfassen um sie beseitigen zu können. Die empirische Sozialforschung, speziell die Befragung der Studierenden ist ein wirksames Mittel um aufzuzeigen, wo Verbesserungsarbeit zu leisten ist. Von Seiten der Alice-Salomon-Hochschule wird zwar bereits eine Lehrevaluation durchgeführt, welche sich allerdings nur auf die Lehrenden und deren Seminare fokussiert. Diese Umfragen werden auch nur einmal im Jahr durchgeführt wird, was natürlich problematisch ist bei einsemestrigen Veranstaltungen. Wünsche, Anregungen und Schwierigkeiten zu Institutionen und Atmosphäre der Hochschule geraten hierbei in Vergessenheit. Eine weitere Form zur Orientierung an den Bedürfnissen und der Zufriedenheit, sollen sogenannte Hochschulrankings (z.B. CHE-Ranking) bieten. Allerdings wird hier meist versucht die eigene Hochschule in ein angenehmes Licht zu rücken, da ein ständiger Konkurrenzkampf auf dem Markt herrscht, wo es natürlich auch um Gelder für die Hochschule geht. Uns war es wichtig selbst die Einschätzung der Studierenden aufzunehmen, deshalb führten wir im Rahmen des Seminars "Forschungsmethoden in der Sozialen Arbeit" eine Befragung zur Studienzufriedenheit in Form eines Fragebogens durch. Bei der Auswertung konzentrieren wir uns auf die Institutionen und Einrichtungen der Alice-Salomon-Hochschule (Immatrikulationsbüro, Prüfungsamt
