'Forty-Eight Hours of Death' is a suspense thriller involving domestic terrorism. A deadly organization is set to launch a massive terrorist attack across the country and kill thousands of innocent civilians in cold blood to achieve their goals. One such civilian is about to die. The drug was good for several hours, but death would come first. Mari Denton would never know what hit her, no pain, just darkness. It was such a waste, but it had to be done. Mari, her companion Martin Parrish and her friend Elaine Myers had to be eliminated. Martin saw something that he wasn't supposed to see, and The Council didn't know if he knew the significance of what he saw and told Mari and Elaine. The Council was always cautious, and The Council's needs came first. The assassin pulled into an alley behind a bar, fitted the silencer to the barrel and shot Mari behind the left ear. He hated that part. A disgruntled group of American citizens fueled by disgust with politicians has embraced terrorism as a domestic weapon. Innocent lives are sacrificed to protect a deep dark secret. Prominent people in the community are disappearing without a trace, and the clock is ticking down to terrifying, unspeakable events. Hunting lodge owner Abe Lincoln finds Mari's body in a ditch by the roadside and along with retired detective Jacob Grant seek to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearances and brutal deaths. Their journey takes them into the dark and murky world of home grown domestic terrorism. What they uncover is far more sinister than anything that they had imagined.
