Frankho ChessDoku(TM) puzzles were invented by Mr. Frank Ho, a Canadian math teacher and the founder of Ho Math Chess Tutor Franchise Learning Centre. The puzzles included in this workbook were jointly created by Frank Ho and Amanda Ho.Game play is a good way to inspire children's interest in learning math and chess has proven to be effective as a learning tool. Frankho ChessDoku(TM) is a collection of a special kind of math puzzles that are solved by using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or number factoring by following chess moves, logic, and backwards thinking strategy. Frankho ChessDoku(TM) is one-of-a-kind puzzle that can help children improve their computing, logic, and chess abilities all in one workbook and at the same time.Since most children like puzzles and games, so for children working on Frankho ChessDoku(TM) is a good alternative for them to learn math computation skills whether they are interested in playing chess or not. There are no chess strategies or tactics required when working on Frankho ChessDoku(TM) other than the knowledge of basic chess moves. The basic starting numbers involve in the computations are all just one-digit numbers.

Frank Ho is a Canadian professional math teacher and the founder of Ho Math Chess Tutor Franchise Centre based in Canada. He has bachelor's degrees in Statistics and Computer Science and also a Master's degree in Statistics. He worked as a Statistical Consultant both at the University of Utah, USA and the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada for almost 20 years before he founded the Vancouver Ho Math Chess in Canada. Ho Math Chess Tutor Franchise Centre has a unique teaching methodology and invented world first innovative math workbook which integrates math, Sudoku, and chess. Frank Ho also invented the flat chess set using Geometry Chess Symbols which are the core technology of creating so many innovative and fun arithmetic workbooks. Amanda Ho has a bachelor's degree in Science with over 10 years of tutoring math experience from kindergarten to grade 12 in Canada. She has co-authored over 30 math, Sudoku, chess and IQ puzzles integrated workbooks.
