FRIENDS OR FOES: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF MORMON AND PROTESTANT THEOLOGIES compares the beliefs found within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with those contained within the family of denominations generally referred to as Protestant.FRIENDS OR FOES DOES NOT CAST ANY DEGREE OF POLEMICS against the tenets of either Faith but is written to (1) help establish more congenial relationships between adherents of each Faith, (2) describe the inspiration unique to each Faith, and (3) provide the legitimate logical argument of each Faith as justification for their inclusion within the family of Christianity.WRITTEN FOR BOTH A LATTER-DAY SAINT READER AS WELL AS FOR A PROTESTANT, this book by Dr. Zollinger provides an open and objective analysis of the doctrines of both religious persuasions. It identifies many common religious experiences and histories, points of doctrinal agreement, as well as areas of divergence that are essential to the identity of each. Whether you are a Mormon or a Protestant, "Friends or Foes" helps you more fully appreciate your own Faith and the unique contribution and inspiration of the other.

Ronald Redford Zollinger is the son of Lyman and Ruth Zollinger. He was raised with his six siblings on their farm in Thatcher, Utah. He graduated from Bear River High School and served an LDS mission to the Central States. He earned a bachelor's degree in in 1973 from Utah State University majoring in psychology and sociology.
