About the Author

Y. C. Halan, a PhD graduate from JNU, has served as a university teacher, journalist, and corporate advisor. His illustrious career includes other prestigious roles such as being a member of the Press Council of India, treasurer at the Editors Guild of India, and a member of the governing boards of LBS Institutes of Management. In addition, he has held leadership positions as the president of the Delhi Film Society and has been on the board of directors of the American Studies Research Centre in Hyderabad.
