Dr. Aditi Sunil Shere-Kharwar (M.Sc., Ph.D., NET) graduated from Bangalore University (2007) and completed her post graduation from Savitribai Phule Pune University (2009), securing Ist rank and receiving the Late Nandu Dixit Memorial Prize.' She qualified NET in June 2009 and was awarded Ph.D. in 2018 from Savitribai Phule Pune University. She has over 15 years of teaching experience and is a recognized Ph.D. guide at Savitribai Phule Pune University. Specializing in Genetics and Systematics, she has over 13 years of research experience in molecular taxonomy, biodiversity studies, and ecology. She secured a Major Research Project from UGC at the young age of 28 years while pursuing her Ph.D., and has over 15 research articles and two books to her credit. She also serves on advisory boards and works as a reviewer for prominent scientific journals. Beyond academics, she actively contributes to citizen science, biodiversity documentation, and science communication, aiming to make scientific knowledge more accessible.
