Oxana Vasilievna Kharissova is Professor at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL) Monterrey City, Mexico. She obtained her Ph.D. in Materials Engineering at UANL in 2001. She is an active researcher with memberships in numerous science societies. She has co-authored eight books, twelve book chapters, and 85 research articles in chemistry and nanoscience.

Boris Ildusovich Kharisov is Professor at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL), Monterrey City, Mexico. He obtained his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry at Moscow State University, Russia in 1993. He is author and co-author of 13 books, eleven book chapters, and 167 research articles in chemistry and nanoscience, and holds eight patents. He has also worked at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia and the University of Texas at Arlington, USA.
