Die Art und Formen dieser Hilfen haben sich im Lauf der Jahrhunderte ausdifferenziert und verändert. In Deutschland gewann die soziale Marktwirtschaft gerade im Non-Profit-Bereich zur Zeit des 19. Jahrhunderts zunehmend an Bedeutung und Zulauf. Die institutionelle Festigung und Ausweitung der Unterstützung von steuerbegünstigten Organisationen, sogenannten Non-Profit-Organisationen, ist im Sozialstaat Deutschland schon lange nichts Neues mehr. Seit der Jahrtausendwende jedoch befindet sich der Non-Profit-Sektor in einer Art Umbruchssituation: Leere öffentliche Kassen, überlastete Sozialversicherungen sowie ein steigender Wettbewerb innerhalb des Sektors und gesellschaftliche Einflussfaktoren führen vermehrt zu Problematiken; vor allem in der Ressourcenbeschaffung. Dass sich wirtschaftliche und soziale Interessen hierbei vermehrt überschneiden, ist ebenso evident wie die Tatsache, dass jene Umbruchssituation einen Einfluss auf unser alltägliches Leben und die zukünftige Soziale Arbeit haben wird. Was ist überhaupt eine Non-Profit-Organisation und welche Funktion erfüllt diese im deutschen Sozialsystem? Was steckt hinter dem Wort Fundraising und welche Bedeutung hat dieses für Non-Profit-Organisation? Was sind hierbei Privatpersonen und woran lassen sich diese charakterisieren? Was oder Wer sind Spender und welche Motive stecken hinter der Spende von Privatpersonen? Welche Motivation beziehungsweise welcher Anspruch steckt in der Handlung von Non-Profit-Organisationen, Fundraising zu betreiben? About The Author

Joshua Fischer - Sozialarbeiter/Sozialpädagoge, B.A. - blickt auf über 5 Jahre erfolgreiche Arbeit als freiberuflicher Trainer für Soziales Lernen zurück. In der Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Kooperationspartnern lag sein Arbeitsschwerpunkt, national und international, in der Durchführung von Klassenfahrten, Wochenendreisen und Ferienfreizeiten mit Fokus auf Sozialem Lernen und Teamtraining sowie dem Kletter-, Kanu- und Bogensport. Hierbei bediente er sich vor allem erlebnispädagogischer, sportpädagogischer und systemischer Elemente und Techniken. Fischer setzte während seines Studiums der "Sozialen Arbeit" thematischen Schwerpunkt auf die Bereiche "Kinder- und Jugendarbeit", "Sozialökonomie" und "Systemische Arbeit". Sein ehrenamtliches Engagement u.a. als leitender Referent des Finanz- und Haushaltswesens der Studierendenvertretung an der Katholischen Hochschule NRW, Abt. Köln ließ ihn sein Wissen in der Sozialökonomie vertiefen. Seit dem Abschluss im Sommer 2019 absolviert er ein Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre und ist als Sozialpädagoge tätig.
