Aber der Traum wird greifbar nah, wenn die Blauwale entlang ihrer Küste bis nach Alaska schwimmen. Als er hört, dass sie an den Galapagos-Inseln vorbeikommen, beschlie t Bobby gleichzeitig, sie zu begleiten. Im Gegensatz zu ihm sind seine Freunde Tulok, Nuka und Jacco nicht so mutig und können nicht glauben, dass Bobby es wagen wird, mitzukommen. Doch bevor sie etwas sagen konnten, war er schon mitten auf dem blauen Ozean und segelte nach Norden. Nach vielen Tagen kommt der Pinguin endlich an dem Ort an, von dem er geträumt hat, und alles scheint noch besser und schöner zu sein als auf den zahlreichen Postern und Postkarten, die die Wände seines Iglus schmücken. Doch das Paradies auf Erden wird für ihn bald zu einem Ort der Traurigkeit und Einsamkeit, denn alles wäre so schön, wenn nur seine Lieben bei ihm wären.
