When eight-year-old Darcy sees a flash of movement out of the corner of her eye she is curious. She blinks for just a second and opens her eyes. The light is gone! Was it ever there? Was her imagination playing tricks on her?

Everyone wants to believe in a little magic, and no one wants to believe more than eight-year-old Darcy. When Darcy's mother decides to move them to Ireland, she is sad, lonely and homesick.

Then, one day, four garden fairies choose Darcy and the neglected garden of her new home to nurture back to life. With a little bit of magic, and a lot of hard work, both Darcy and the garden begin to heal and flourish.

Jones, Sheila: - Sheila Jones is a technical communicator by day and a freelance graphic artist in her free time. Sheila has worked with graphic design for over 25 years and has seen a lot of things change in that time. Whether working on written language or graphic elements, Sheila ensures her clients receive outstanding results that achieve their goals. Translating concepts from idea to completion is her creative outlet.

Nicol, Brock: - Brock Nicol is an Ottawa, Ontario based full-time professional illustrator with a passion for realism in art. The youngest of 7 children (and twin brother to Barry), Brock was born and raised in Ottawa where he began the pursuit of art at a very early age. He graduated from the Graphic Design/Illustration program at Algonquin College and subsequently began a career as a freelance illustrator. From children's books, greeting cards and individual commissions, Brock enjoys working in many different mediums-traditional or digital.

Watson, C. L.: - CL's roots run deep in Irish culture. Coghlan was grandmother's maiden name. She too had a touch of whimsy and a little glimpse. She is a married mother of two legged, four legged, and winged children. Fun for CL is gardening haphazardly, and baking when motivated. Her favorite thing is sitting on her deck reading or writing, looking at her garden, and wishing it would grow faster, last longer, and weed itself. Quite often she wonders if she sees a glimpse of something urging her on in her garden or comforting her when she is low. "A good story always helps someone through, especially a child." A percentage of every book sold is donated to help fund Earth Angel Charities for Children.
