Die Idee der (sozialen) Menschenrechte bettet sich ein in einen vielschichtigen Problemkreis, der in seiner Gänze hier nicht behandelt werden kann. Vielmehr möchte es Ziel dieser kleinen Schrift sein, einen Beitrag dahingehend erbracht zu haben, dass der Vernunft, welche aus einer Idee sozialer Menschenrechte spricht, nicht die ideale Zunge infolge pragmatischer Erwägungen gespalten werde. Der Hauptteil gliedert sich in zwei Bereiche, wobei der erste Teil, der mit der Überschrift "Der Mensch mit seiner Menschheit" versehen ist, die Menschenrechtsproblematik mit besonderem Bezug auf einen Kontraktualismus bespricht. Darauf wird die Idee sozialer Menschrechte mit einer Legitimationsfrage der bestehenden sozio-ökonomischen und sozio-politischen Strukturen der menschlichen Gesellschaft verbunden, und zu einer Forderung egalitärer Verteilungsgerechtigkeit erweitert. Der zweite Teil, mit der Überschreibung "Der Mensch und sein Eigentum" versehen, bespricht den Lockeschen Eigentumsbegriff, und emendiert diesen hinsichtlich des Aneignungsprinzips speziell an der Erde selbst. Der Schlussteil bespricht abschlie end verschiedene Begleitgedanken des Themas ohne Anspruch auf erschöpfende Tiefe kursorisch und kulminiert in der Formulierung eines, ja vielleicht des Dilemmas der Menschheit.
