Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Theologie - Sonstiges, Note: 1.3, Universit�t M�nster (Seminar f�r allgemeine Religionswissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Monte Verit� Lebensreform, Theosophie und die Anf�nge des New Age, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Arbeit sollen vornehmlich zwei Fragestellungen behandelt werden: 1.Im ersten Teil wird der Frage nachgegangen, in wie weit die Theosophische Gesellschaft, einzelne Theosophen oder theosophisches Gedankengut Einfl�sse auf die fr�he Phase des Sanatoriums Monte Verit� in Ascona hatten. 2.Im zweiten Teil wird �berpr�ft, ob die lebensreformerische Gemeinschaft MV Einfluss auf Theosophen, bzw. okkult-freimaurerische Gruppen hatte, die sozusagen als Nachfolgeorganisationen der TG gesehen werden k�nnen. Die behandelten Personen sind vorrangig Vertreter sozial h�herer Schichten wie Intellektuelle, Doktoren, Adlige und wohlhabende B�rger. Ihre Zahl ist relativ begrenzt, sie stellen selbst innerhalb ihrer sozialen Schicht eine kleine Minderheit dar. Die gegenseitige Beeinflussung der zum Teil befreundeten Akteure - aber auch ihre pers�nlichen Vorbehalte gegeneinander mit daraus resultierender starker gegenseitiger Ablehnung - ergeben ein kaum zu �berblickendes Beziehungsgeflecht. In ihren Kreisen und Gruppen vertraten sie neben freimaurerischen und okkulten Programmen auch (radikales) sozialistisches bzw. anarchistisches, zumindest gr� tenteils pazifistisches Gedankengut. Besonders deutlich wird die sehr enge Verbindung zwischen theosophisch-gepr�gten Gruppen, die auf den ersten Blick v�llig verschiedene Wurzeln und Ausrichtungen haben an einzelnen Personen bzw. ihren Individualbiographien.
