About The Book

In der vorliegenden Arbeit w rd die exakte Theorie eines aus zwei gekop- pe ten Hochfrequenz-Doppelleitungen bestehenden Achtpols aufgestellt. Aus- gehend von der Losung der aus den Maxwell'schen Gleichungen gefundenen Differentialgleichungen flir das Leitersystem wird die Streumatrix des Acht- pols abgeleitet. Aus der Streumatrix lassen sich die Eigenschaften des Achtpols besonders einfach und libersichtlich berechnen, wobei die Richt- kopplereigenschaften deutlich zum Ausdruck kommen. Als Anwendung der Theorie sind zwei praktisch wichtige Falle, namlich die Verwendung derartiger Achtpole zur Messung des Reflexionskoeffizienten und zur Mischung zweier Frequenzen eingehend behandelt, auf weitere Anwen- dungen wird hingewiesen. Flir den wichtigen Fall der losen Kopplung erge- ben sich einfache Naherungsformeln. Eine Fehlerabschatzung bietet die Moglichkeit, den EinfluB unvollkommener Schaltelemente sowie den Fehler bei Verwendung der einfachen Beziehungen flir lose Kopplung zu berechnen. Zum Vergleich der Theorie mit der Praxis wurden die beiden theoretisch behandelten Falle praktisch ausgeflihrt. Nachdem die Ermittlung der flir die Rechnung notwendigen Konstanten eines gegebenen Leitersystems beschrie- ben worden ist, wird auf die verschiedenen Bauformen von Richtkopplern hingewiesen. Ein praktisch ausgeflihrtes Breitband-Reflektometer und eine Mischeinrichtung werden beschrieben. Die MeBergebnisse des Reflektometers werden diskutiert und mit den theoretischen Werten verglichen, wobei sich gute ttbereinstimmung ergibt.
