Sabrina Mesko deed ballet toen ze drie was. In haar tienerjaren danste ze in een professioneel balletgezelschap. Terwijl ze herstelde van rugletsel, ontdekte ze haar passie voor yoga. Ze oefende dagelijks, een discipline die ze gedurende haar hele carrière en de rest van haar leven zou blijven volhouden. Als danser op Broadway reisde ze de hele wereld over. Ze excelleerde in twee belangrijke rollen op de Europese televisie, begon een carrière als zangeres en componeerde muziek. In New York ontmoette ze voor het eerst de Indiase yoga meester goeroe Maya. Haar zoektocht om spirituele verlichting en expressie te combineren met muziek bracht haar naar Los Angeles. Terwijl ze haar eigen composities opnam, bestudeerde ze verschillende spirituele leringen en meditatietechnieken van yoga en voltooide ze een vierjarige studie onder leiding van de wereldberoemde meester Paramahansa Yogananda, waarna ze zich aan kriya yoga wijdde. Ze studeerde cum laude af van de internationaal bekende Yoga Collega van India en mocht zich een gecertificeerde yogatherapeut noemen. Zij studeerde; ze leerde helende ademhalingstechnieken onder leiding van Sri Sri Ravi Shankar en gaf het baccalaureaat door aan de Sensory Approaches to Heling. Ze heeft een master titel op het gebied van holistische wetenschap en behaalde haar Ph.D. van de Ancient and Modern Approaches to Healing bij het American Institute of Holistic Theology. Haar fascinatie voor de studie van krachtige handhoudingen of mudra's bracht Sabrina naar 's werelds enige meester in witte tantra-yoga, yogi Bhajan.
