Krankenhaus Witten und Professor für Urogeriatrie an der Universität Witten/Herdecke; Vorsitzender des AK Geriatrische Urologie der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Urologie und der Arbeitsgruppe Inkontinenz der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Geriatrie. Er ist Mitglied des Expertenrates der Deutschen Kontinenz Gesellschaft und Koordinator der Leitlinien "Harninkontinenz bei geriatrischen Patienten, Diagnostik und Therapie" und "Hilfsmittelberatung".
