Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Romanistik - Hispanistik, Note: 1,7, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Seminararbeit handelt von der Geschichte der Lexikographie und der Normierung des Wortschatzes in Spanien, vom 16. bis zum 18. Jahrhundert. Wegen der Vollständigkeit, werden auch die früheren Werke der spanischen Lexikographie Erwähnung finden. Otto Winkelmann thematisiert in seinem Aufsatz "Normierungsinstanzen und Normierungskriterien romanischer Minderheitensprachen" die Relevanz von Wörterbüchern für die Normierung einer Sprache. Er führt an, dass so genannte Normierungsinstanzen private Vereinigungen, Institute und auch Akademien sein können. Dessen Betätigungsfelder bestünden aus der Statusplanung und der Korpusplanung. Die Statusplanung soll die politischen, rechtlichen und gesellschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen schaffen. Die Korpusplanung sollte zunächst die gro e Anzahl von Varianten erfassen, die von den Mitgliedern einer Sprachgemeinschaft verwendet wird. Aus den gesammelten Varianten werden im zweiten Schritt diejenigen ausgewählt, die in ihrer Totalität im Weiteren eine Standardvarietät darstellen sollen. Neben der Fixierung einer einheitlichen Orthographie soll auch eine diatopisch bedingte Variation der Flexion und vor allem Lexik minimiert werden. Die Wörterbücher stellen eine Form der Festschreibung oder Kodifizierung der sprachlichen Merkmale der Standardvarietät dar (Winkelmann 1990: 16-17). In Spanien dominieren seit fast 300 Jahren die Wörterbücher der Real Academia Española die spanische Lexikographie. Eine herausragende Stellung hat das Diccionario de la lengua Española (DRAE) (Ruhstaller 2003: 237). Die meisten Benutzer konsultieren es aufgrund normativer Fragen. Denn es gibt eine Auskunft hinsichtlich eines korrekten Spanisch. In der 20. Auflage hat das Wörterbuch aber auch einige umgangssprachliche Wörter aufgenommen und somit einen deskriptiven Zug angenommen. Und doch ist das DRAE
