Die freundliche Aufnahme, die der 1975 erschienene Band "Ge- stalttheorie und Erziehung" (UTB 508) beim Leserpublikum ge- funden hat, haben Verlag und Herausgeber ermutigt, einen Band folgen zu lassen, der sich mit den gestalttheoretischen Beitragen zu verschiedenen Problemen der Fachdidaktik beschaftigt. Dieses Vorhaben wurde auch angeregt durch die haufig zu vernehmende Klage von Schulpadagogen und Fachdidaktikern, die Gestalttheorie enthielte fiiI ihre Belange zwar viel Brauchbares, doch sei dies nur seiten, schwer zuganglich, verstreut oder wenig zusammenhangend dargestellt worden. Dies sei umso bedauerlicher, da die konkurrie- renden Modelle lern- und verhaitenstheoretischer Herkunft z. Zt. das Feld beherrschten und man sich nur zu oft vergeblich nach anderen (nicht unbedingt "besseren") psychologischen Ansatzen umschaue, die beim Unterricht und beim Lehren von Nutzen sein k6nnen. Viel- leicht darf man hoffen, daB der vorliegende Band hier etwas Abhilfe schafft. Er vermag allerdings keine "Gestalttheorie der Fachdidak- tik" oder gar eine "gestaittheoretische Fachdidaktik" zu leiste- diesem Anspruch stlinden nicht nur die notwendige Umfangsbe- grenzung eines Buches, sondern vor aHem auch Probleme wissen- schaftstheoretischer Art im Wege. Das gesteckte Ziel ist beschei- dener: es sollen gestalttheoretische Grundannahmen und Grund- gedanken im Zusammenhang fachdidaktischer Uberlegungen be- sprochen und auf M6glichkeiten und Grenzen hin untersucht werden. DaB dabei manche Fragen offen bleiben, wird nicht ver- wundern; es sollte Ansporn zu weiterem Nachdenken, Forschen und Erproben sein.
