Als einziger Überlebender konnte ich mich an den Strand einer kleinen, trostlosen Vulkaninsel inmitten des endlosen Ozeans und fernab jeglicher Zivilisation retten. Tag für Tag kämpfte ich mit den Naturgewalten ums nackte Überleben, angetrieben von meinen Erinnerungen an Joanna und der Hoffnung auf ein Wunder, wodurch ich aus meiner trostlosen Lage befreit werden würde. Aus den den Tagen wurden Wochen und Monate.
Schlie lich tauchte tatsächlich eine Motorjacht vor meiner Insel auf. Doch ganz schnell musste ich feststellen, dass meine wieder aufkeimende Hoffnung auf Rettung verfrüht war.
