This is the third workbook in the seven-part series Getty-Dubay(R) Italic Handwriting Series for K-6. Covers basic italic, numbers, and introduces cursive italic. Writing practice includes days of the week, months of the year, modes of transportation, and tongue twisters. Illustrated. 64 pages.

Italic is a modern writing system based on letterforms that facilitate efficient and legible writing. Italic follows natural movements. It builds on previously learned concepts and the shapes found at the basic level are the same as those found in cursive, eliminating the abrupt transition that commonly occurs when it comes time for the student to learn to join letters. Self-assessment is a key part of the Getty-Dubay(R) program.
