The world of Ghost Noir is dark, gritty and dangerous. Though it bears some similarities to our own world in the 1940s, it is an alternate reality with noted differences. Seven variants of demons - wrath, vanity, envy, hunger, fervor, greed, sloth - are commonplace. There is no alcohol. No cigarettes. No drugs and no disease. No parents, no school, no infants. There's also no sex and no procreation. No one in Ghost Noir ages and no one appears older than sixteen. Though this world is rife with danger, demise plays by different rules. Death from old age is nonexistent and death by accident or foul play will only result in regeneration within a few hours. Memories remain intact and life continues. Only if an individual lives a truly heinous life will their regeneration be altered, allowing them to return only as a demon, unseen by most and unable to fully affect the physical world. Why is this world like this? Where are the adults? What secrets shape the Ghost Noir universe? Detective Camille Delatore wants answers... but she has secrets of her own.

An award-winning poet and Seattle Times best-selling novelist, Jennifer DiMarco made her first foray into theater in the late '90s then turned to television and film in 2011, founding Blue Forge Productions. Her first major project, Ghost Sniffers, is entering its third season of empowering children who live with disabilities. Ghost Noir is a darker exploration of how we treat our children and what our world might become if we refuse to embrace all our young people.
