Wani, Aijaz Ashraf: - Aijaz Ashraf Wani is Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, J&K, where he has been teaching for more than 14 years. His research interests include governance and public policy, J&K politics, Indian politics, identity politics and electoral politics. He is the author of What Happened to Governance in Kashmir? (2019). His research papers have been published in journals such as Asian Ethnicity, Studies in Indian Politics, Economic & Political Weekly, Indian Historical Review and South Asian Survey. Several of his chapters have appeared in books published by well-known publishers. He has participated and presented papers at a number of conferences both within and outside India. Wani has received funding for research projects from the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi, and the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), New Delhi.
Waza, Farooq Ahmad: - Farooq Ahmad Waza is a PhD in political science from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar. Currently, he is working as lecturer (contractual) in political science at Higher Education Department, J&K. His academic interests include politics in J&K, decentralization and development studies. He was recipient of a doctoral fellowship from the ICSSR, New Delhi (2015-2017). His research has been published in many national journals.
