Dabei stellt sich die Frage, inwiefern gruppendynamische Prozesse Arbeitsgruppen beeinflussen, sodass es Auswirkungen auf die Gruppeneffektivität hat. Dieser Frage geht die vorliegende Arbeit nach. Um dies herauszufinden, wird zunächst die Begrifflichkeit der Arbeitsgruppe geklärt, warum sie gebildet wird und welche Ziele diese verfolgt. Im Anschluss wird der Begriff der Gruppeneffektivität erläutert und durch die zwei Modelle der Gruppeneffektivität "Determinanten der Produktivität nach Steiner und "Determinanten der Teameffektivität" nach Forster genauer erläutert und aufgezeigt durch welche Faktoren eine Gruppeneffektivität entstehen kann. Forster zeigt in seinem Modell Variablenklassen auf, die die Gruppeneffektivität beeinflussen. Dieser teilt nämlich Einflussfaktoren in eine sachliche bzw. organisationale Ebene, sowie einer personellen Ebene auf. Auf dieser Aufteilung basierend wird schlie lich der Forschungsstand bezüglich der Arbeitsgruppen aufgezeigt, inwiefern diese überhaupt eine erhöhte Gruppeneffektivität erbringen können. Daher werden die Vor- und Nachteile von Arbeitsgruppen genannt und diese zusammengeführt. Um aber eine allumfassende Erkenntnis bezüglich der Effektivität der Arbeitsgruppen zu treffen und unter welchen Voraussetzungen diese besteht, werden anschlie end gruppendynamischen Einflussfaktoren aufgezeigt, welche für eine Gruppeneffektivität sprechen. Im Anschluss werden auf der Basis des Forschungsstandes und der Einflussfaktoren Chancen und Risiken genannt, dementsprechend positive wie negative Einflüsse, die auf die Gruppeneffektivität wirken. Diese werden in der Unterteilung nach Forster aufgeführt. Zum Schluss werden diese Ergebnisse
