Previously, he was Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He has served as major professor for 70 doctoral candidates and is the author of more than 850 publications, including 53 books. Dr. Matson is the founding editor of the Review Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders.
