Thus it is intended to be useful for industrial hygienists, industrial hygiene students, physicians, nurses, safety personnel from labor and industry, labor organizations, public service groups, government agencies and manufacturers. An understanding of fundamental of industrial hygiene is very important to anyone involved in environmental, community, or occupational health. This book then should be of help in defining the magnitude and extent of an industrial hygiene problem, it should help the reader decide when the expert help is needed.
