Recipient of a Distinguished Service Awardfrom the National Association for Play Therapy for his work ascofounder and Chairman of the Association's board of directors, Dr.Schaefer is also a member of the American OrthopsychiatricAssociation. Dr. Schaefer received his doctorate in clinicalpsychology from Fordham University.
