Michael Jaffe is Research Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is also Director of the Medical Device Concept Laboratory. His work has focused on understanding the structure-property relationships of polymers and related materials, the application of biological paradigms to materials design and the translation of new technology to commercial reality.
Dr. Takeshi Kikutani is Professor in the Department of Organic and Polymeric Materials at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan.
