Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2000 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Schulpädagogik, Note: 1,5, Universität Karlsruhe (TH) (Institut für Berufspädagogik und Allgemeine Pädagogik), Veranstaltung: Fachdidaktik, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Rahmen dieser Seminararbeit möchte ich mich vorrangig der Umsetzung und Realisierung eines handlungsorientierten Unterrichts widmen. Im Kontext dieses Themas sollen hierbei zunächst einige zentrale Begriffe dieses didaktischen Konzepts, der ganzheitlichen Ausbildung und dem Ziel der Handlungskompetenz erläutert, hinterfragt und begründet werden. Des Weiteren soll ebenfalls der Notwendigkeit dieser Innovation auf den Grund gegangen werden. Dazu möchte ich zunächst grundlegende Definitionen erläutern, bevor ich auf die Kapitel "Handlungsorientierung" und "Lernfelder" näher eingehe. Zum Schluss zeige ich an einem kurzen Beispiel aus dem Bereich "Mess- und Prüftechnik" wie ein Unterricht zu diesem Thema aussehen könnte. Ziel einer ganzheitlichen beruflichen Bildung ist es, den Auszubildenden eine Handlungskompetenz zu vermitteln, bei der die fachliche und allgemeine (soziale, ethische und politische) sowie die praktische und theoretische Dimension gleicherma en integriert sind. Demnach ist ganzheitliche Berufsbildung eine Symbiose aus beruflicher Handlungskompetenz und Persönlichkeitsentwicklung (vergleiche Ott, 1995, 49ff.). Berufliche Handlungskompetenz ist ein unstrittiges Ziel der beruflichen Bildung. Bisher war berufliche Handlungskompetenz gleichbedeutend mit rein fachlicher Qualifikation, vermittelbar durch Kenntnisse und Fertigkeiten. Dieser Anspruch ist jedoch für die heutige Berufs (aus) bildung alleine nicht mehr hinreichend. Berufliche Handlungskompetenz bedeutet heute neben gestiegenen kognitiven Ansprüchen vor allem eine deutlich ausgeprägte personale und methodische Kompetenz, vermittelbar durch so genannte Schlüsselqualifikationen materieller, formaler und sozialer Art wie zum Beispiel Kommunikations und Kooperationsfähigkei
