Dr. Michael Wasta has over four decades of educational experience. He has served as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, special education administrator and superintendent of schools. In addition Dr. Wasta has worked as a consultant for the Leadership and Learning Center providing services to schools and districts throughout the United States and beyond. He has also served as a consultant to the State Department of Education in Connecticut, which adopted many of his initiatives for statewide implementation. Currently Dr. Wasta maintains a private consulting practice focused on implementing the ideas presented in this book in districts and schools. His work on a daily basis with real teachers in real schools has informed the practical application of the ideas expressed in this book.
