About The Author

A.M. Brimmar is a pen name chosen by the four young cousin writers who created this adventure. They are upcoming authors full of creativity and the courage to turn an idea into a real book. The pen name uses letters from all of the Cousins' first names, and the introductory letters give a head nod to other authors they love, specifically C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. When the Cousins first came up with the idea for this story, they ranged in age from 7 to 11-years-old. The idea was born during a hot, boring day while they were looking for something to do. Their solution? Write a book. They invented the idea of the giant Eagle who could take them over different parts of the continents to help save at least a few animals in distress. From that idea grew more stories, and finally the idea to make those stories into a book. Their "grown-ups" helped put the stories into book form on the computer. The Cousins have completely illustrated the book (with one illustration created by their youngest cousin). They even edited for tone and content. The Cousins and their families live in Pennsylvania.
