West, Amber: - Amber West's writing has appeared in journals and anthologies such as Calyx, Rhizomes, Puppetry International, Furies: A Poetry Anthology of Women Warriors, and The Routledge Companion to Puppetry & Material Performance. Her chapbook, Daughter Eraser, was published by Finishing Line Press and her plays and puppet poems have been performed on the east and west coasts. West is director of the NYC artist collective, Alphabet Arts, for which she produced the Puppets & Poets festival from 2011-2015. She teaches writing at University of California, Los Angeles and lives in Hollywood with her husband, actor Sam T. West, and their son.
