Plus tard � Rio et S�o Paulo, il va r�volutionner la musique populaire br�silienne en bousculant, avec un groupe d'amis, le petit monde feutr� de la bossa-nova. Il part ensuite aux �tats-Unis composer et jouer avec Miles Davis, mais il refuse le pont d'or qu'on lui propose, pour revenir fonder, au Br�sil, le groupe dont il r�ve, avec de jeunes musiciens qui vont tout apprendre avec lui. Ceux-ci d�dient toutes leurs journ�es pendant 15 ans � cette musique universelle, inclassable, virtuose, inventive et profond�ment ancr�e dans la nature.
En 2024, Hermeto et son groupe remplissent toujours les salles de concert du monde entier. L'histoire n'est pas finie...

Sicsic, Pierre: - Pierre Sicsic est né en 1953 à Beni-Saf, une petite ville portuaire à l'ouest d'Oran. Il a passé son enfance, jusqu'à l'âge de 16 ans, sur les bords de Loire, près de Chambord. Ses études d'ingénieur l'ont conduit à Lyon en 1970. Il a exercé cette profession dans différentes entreprises et s'est engagé très tôt pour la préservation de l'environnement. Il garde toujours contact avec la musique qu'il a commencé à jouer à l'âge de 7 ans. En 1978, un long périple en Amérique latine l'amène, presque par hasard, à tomber amoureux du Brésil et de sa musique. Il y séjourne pendant 4 ans et reste en lien étroit avec ce pays.
