Hey, young man. You can stop pretending that everything is fine, that everything is fair for you and your young male friends.

Heroes of the Blue Sky Rebellion is for boys and young men 13 to 23 to assure you that you are not imagining things and do not have a "personal problem" when you perceive sexism, gender bias, double standards and stereotypes operating against your efforts to reach maximum health, achievement and happiness.

Since adults haven't really done much to help you - especially compared to what they've done for girls and young women to make sure they get what they want out of life - this book encourages you to become your own advocate and activist to address the injustices you face as a male, and to enlist reluctant adults and very cool young women and girls as Allies in a campaign to make sure you, too, can claim all the happiness in the world.

Kammer, Jack: - Jack Kammer started a radio show on men's issues in 1983. From his weekly interviews he quickly came to see that serious social problems are enmeshed in fallacious thinking and reasoning about what men and boys want and need. In 2005 he left his IT job and entered a dual Masters degree program Social Work in Business in the hope he could find work in social services or public policy related to the social needs of men and boys. No such job materialized. He did, however, find work as a correctional officer in the infamous Baltimore City jail, then as a Parole & Probation agent in central Baltimore and then as a trainer for National Fatherhood Initiative on running the InsideOut Dad program for incarcerated fathers. He is the author of three books on male gender issues and is now retired but still actively advocating for men and boys.
